KL-101 blocks EGFR signaling in preclinical models of head and neck cancer
Abstract
KL-101 binds domain III of EGFR with a KD of 0.4 nM (SPR) and blocks EGF-driven EGFR signaling in head and neck cancer cell lines. In mouse xenograft models (n = 8 per group), KL-101 given twice a week slowed tumor growth compared with control. These are preclinical results; they do not show that KL-101 works or is safe in people.
